I learned with this post that Lappland is not a “nice” name anymore. I didn’t honestly know where Lappland was (somewhere up there). So I learned something.

What is the proper word to use?
Sami – I think? They were (are?) nomadic people in (near?) Sweden. Again I am not sure, but I think Lapp was the name of a language. Let’s hope someone who knows more than I do will chime in here.
