Elephant suggested we converse with each other, so here goes. I think the Goat looks very surprised. I might be too because it looks as though it is being asked to step in to a picture frame.
Last weekend we began training our whether goat to driving (I secretly want to save all the male goat kids, build a grand wagon and have a team of them drive me all around). Michael the goat kept turning his head to look at me with the same puzzled expression.
Oh you two – chatting to make me (and yourselves) happy! Who knew so much about goats and carts – Middlemay Farm of course! You have got to love a woman who dreams of having a super goat team (and who is a wonderful writer)!!
So nice,
Elephant
Interesting art work. I Am left what was on the artists mind at that moment. I guess it can be tough to draw detail with a quill as I have used on. A pained event.
Have a nice trip! I hope the kid can get some dental work done at the castle. What a well-trained goat.

How cute! So it really is true that goats can be taught to pull wagons 🙂

I was enchanted by that post!
I love the goat’s expression. But what’s that? A dead bird on the boy’s back? A crow by the look of it. The plot thickens.
Yes, it does look like a crow – that’s what I think too!
Away I go,
Elephant
I love this so much! Such simple lines with such a pleasing outcome.
