Lady Summer

 Summer is a countess fair

Clothed in shimmering sheen,

Rosy footsteps everywhere

Show where she has been.

  1. This reminds me a little bit of the the flower fairies by Cicely Mary Barker – books I had as a child. I think the illustrations would be great for this blog 🙂 Maybe you posted pictures of them already? Fairies seem like appropriate midsummer night subject matter!

          1. Thank you – but I suppose everyone has notions about how things could look or should look – I’m doing the best I can with them and that’s all I can do!
