  1. Oh dear.

You know, for some reason I would really like to color this in. Not that it should be a colored illustration, I just feel I’d like to do it. Because there is a lot of scope here – all the patterns and textures.

    1. Dear Claudia,

I would be happy to send you a higher res copy of the illustration – and you can color away. I like the idea! But you don’t have to do it! Let me know.

        1. I will look for your email – how big the file is I don’t know – I may have to compress it some – I will fool around with it and let you know.

  2. It looks like my dinner table growing up. It you didn’t take the food on the first pass there is no second one.

      1. It was civilized to the extent we were good quiet catholic girls and no one could eat before prayers ,however , there were 10 of us and not always enough to go around. We dared not make a peep , we never knew which dad was coming to the table..I thought I noticed what looked like a martini glass…that was always guaranteed to be full

        1. I hate to think about 10 silent hungry children at the dinner table waiting for a bomb that might go off! Childhood can be a terrible time – despite the mistaken belief that it rarely is.

These predators are relaxed and jolly by comparison. I hope your dinner time now is much more pleasing and joyful!

          1. I am here and happy Mr. Elephant and actually stronger because of it. We all have our dinner tables in life don’t we? It’s what we choose to do with them that is life and how we grow thanks for all you share you’ll always have a place at my dinner table. I start with dessert
