“Stuck their whole head into it.”

When the calves were a little older, the farmer tried to teach them to drink out of a pail, but they either upset it, put their foot into it, or stuck their whole head into it so deep that when they came out even their eyes were filled with milk.

    1. I am not a big fan of animal trouble. It bothered me that the calf had to drink out of a pail – I HATE it that a calf can’t nurse from its mother until the calf is old enough not to get nearly drowned in a pail or get its head stuck!

    1. The empirical evidence (all the facts all the time on the internet) suggests that cows and many other animals stick their heads in things!

    1. I recently saw a post titled something like the “Ten Best Photos of Cows With Their Heads Stuck in Things” – I guess it is a cattle thing.
